Nemont, a local communications cooperative, successfully completed its latest annual giveback campaign, raising $14,000 for Emergency Medical Services (EMS) across Northeast Montana. The funds will be distributed directly to EMS locations in eleven communities (including Glasgow, Plentywood, and Wolf Point) to support the purchase of necessary equipment, training, and life-saving operations. As a democratically controlled cooperative, Nemont's commitment is to reinvest in its member communities—a principle exemplified by this donation. This giving initiative is a core tradition for Nemont, with funds generated through sales at local summer county fairs, ensuring money spent locally stays local.
